CLIFTON "SKIP" WHITTEMORE

Clifton E. Whittemore “Skip”, 91, of Windham received his Heavenly reward on Friday December 21, 2018 surrounded by his loving family. He was born September 4, 1927 in Glens Falls, NY to Rolland and Ethel (Gould) Whittemore.

He delivered the Plain Dealer newspaper for over 40 years. Skip enjoyed crossword puzzles and games on his Ipad. He was a devoted fan of both the Cleveland Browns and Indians.

Skip will be dearly missed by his wife, Loretta; son, Scott (Gail) Whittemore daughter, Bonnie (William) Thomas; step children, Richard (Peggy) Soltis, Eugene Soltis, Becky Zemek and Frances Hosea; sisters, Dorothy Robilard and Shirley Delisle; 9 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren and many loving nieces and nephews.

Please join Skip’s family for a visitation on Sunday, December 23, 2018 from 2-4 PM at Mallory-DeHaven-Carlson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 8382 Center St., Garrettsville, OH 44231. A funeral service will be held for Skip on Monday, December 24, 2018, 11 AM at the funeral home with Chaplain Matt and Evangelist Roger Brown officiating. Burial will follow in Park Cemetery with Military Honors.
