Clyde William Cain, 89, of Freedom, passed away Saturday, July 30, 2011 at his residence in the presence of his loving family. He was born December 26, 1921 to James and Della Mae (Tickle) Cain in Freedom, Ohio.
Clyde was a former owner and operator of Cain’s Garage. Clyde enjoyed watching the Cleveland Browns, fishing, and spending time with his beloved family and friends.
He is survived by his wife of 42 years Alice (Conrad); children Barbara Blanche of Oregon, Henry Cain of Massillon, Clyde Cain of Wellington, and Deborah Harrison of Warren; stepchildren Herman Miller of Garrettsville, Barry Miller of Honduras, Gary Miller of Virginia, and Diana (Frank) Zwolinski of Virginia; siblings John Cain of Freedom, Harold (Martha) Cain of Freedom, Lloyd Cain of Nelson, and Josie (Ned) Underwood of New Mexico; and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.
Clyde was preceded in death by his parents, previous spouse Capatola, daughter Della Mae, step son Joe, and his siblings Bud, Pete, Bob, Sonny, Laura, and Rose.
Friends may join the family for visitation on Tuesday, August 2, 2011 from 6-8 P.M. at Mallory-DeHaven-Carlson Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 8382 Center St. Garrettsville, OH 44231. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 3, 2011 at 11 A.M. at the funeral home with burial to follow at Drakesburg Cemetery in Freedom Township.
