COLMAN PAPP

Colman Papp, age 77, of Valley City, passed away on July 1, 2015. He was born on June 7, 1938 in Steubenville, Ohio to the late Colman and Margaret (nee Herrick) Papp.

Colman was employed as an auto welder and a member of the United Auto Workers Local 1005. He enjoyed fishing, working with his tools, and especially spending time with his grandchildren. Colman proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force.

He will be dearly missed by his beloved wife, Elizabeth; children, Cheryl (Steve) Shrenkel, James (Valentina), Gary (Tammy); grandchildren, Douglas, Jake, and Steven.

Colman was preceded in death by four siblings.

Friends may join the family for visitation on Monday, July 6, 2015 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm at Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 1642 Pearl Road, (1/2 mile south of Route 303) Brunswick, OH 44212. A Funeral Service will be Tuesday, July 7, 2015 at 10:00 am also at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman, Ohio.
