Darlene Smith, age 57, of Medina passed away peacefully at her residence on Sunday, December 8, 2013. She was born in Ypsilanti, Michigan on April 30, 1956 to Evan and Ida G. “Peachie” (nee Eros) Smith.
Darlene was employed as a Clerk/Cashier for 10 years at the Stop-N-Go in Chippewa Lake and also was a Floral Designer. She enjoyed fishing, wildlife, movies, and was a loyal Pittsburg Steelers Fan. She enjoyed life her way. Darlene didn’t leave anyone she met a stranger, she loved her family dearly. Darlene is survived by her sons; Marcus Alan (Amsale) Esler, Leroy (Amanda) Clark, twin sister Marlene Smith and sister Teri Lynn Zarnesky, 3 granddaughters, 2 grandsons, niece and nephews; Nicholas and Nathan Turrill, Rachel and Russell Jackson.
She was preceded in death by parents.
Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, December 15, 2013 at 1 PM at The Steiner Hall 800 Nottingham Drive, Medina, Ohio. Pastor Roy Symonds will officiate.
