Darrel Hobart Cobb, 84, passed away on February 6, 2020. He was born September 28, 1935 in Clendenin, West Virginia to Duffy and Ruby (Moore) Cobb.
Darrel was educated at Clendenin Elementary and Walton High School in West Virginia. He then attended Vocational school in Ohio and Georgia. Darrel was a heavy equipment operator in the Cleveland area where he made lasting friends in his work and was a mentor to many.
He was devoted to his career and was a talented carpenter, designer, and Freemason; but he was proudest to be a caring husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.
Darrel loved cars, racing, camping, fishing, boating, snowmobiling, country music, and dancing. In recent years, he regularly met downtown with his friends for coffee and conversation.
He will be dearly missed by his children, Cynthia Cobb Mullins, Michael (Elaine) Cobb, Marnita Cobb; grandchildren, Benjamin Johnson, Samantha (Brian) Cowx, Kenneth Franchino; and great-grandchildren, Silas Cowx and Bodhi Cowx.
Darrel was preceded in death by his parents and loving wife Juanita Cobb.
Please join Darrel’s family for visitation on Tuesday, February 11, 2020 from 5:00 pm to 6:30 pm with a Masonic Service to follow at 6:30 pm at Mallory-DeHaven-Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 8382 Center Street, Garrettsville, Ohio 44231. Calling hours will also be held on Wednesday, February 12, 2020 at 10:00 am at the funeral home with a funeral service at 11:00 am. A burial will follow the service at Park Cemetery in Garrettsville.
