David Barta, age 79, of Columbia Station, passed away Friday, August 2, 2019.
He was born on April 6, 1940. David was employed as a truck driver at U.P.S. for 38 years. He was a member of the 2 Million Mile Club.
David was survived by his loving children, Leonard (Lori) Barta, Michael (Pamela) Barta, Cheryl (Russell) Samples; cherished grandchildren, Jennifer (Larry) Carter, Kristen (Brian) Sebille, David Barta, Mandy (Jon) Golod, Jonathan Barta, Steven (Holly) Barta, Autumn Riddell, (fiancé Evan Croy), Douglas (Lauren) Mahlich, and Cheryna Samples; dear great grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Cash, Alivia, Owen, Alyssa, Cole, Kloe, Evelyn, Jace, and Kacie.
He was preceded in death by his wife Linda.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 7th, 2019 from 4-8 pm at the Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 1642 Pearl Road, Brunswick, (1/2 mile south of Route 303). Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 8th, 2019 at 11:00 in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Hope Cemetery, Hinckley.
