DAVID L. CRITES

David L. Crites, age 66, of Berea, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on April 9, 2016. He was born May 20, 1949 in Fairmont, West Virginia to the late Leslie and Ella Crites.

David worked for Ohio Material Handling and Burns Industrial Equipment for 14 years. David loved playing his many guitars. He also enjoyed golfing and tending to his gardens.

He will be dearly missed by his beloved wife, Lena (nee Priest) Crites; children, Jonathan (Melissa) Crites, Dorothy Priest; brother, Bobby (Frances) Crites; sister, Betty Wenzel; grandchildren, Brayden and Makenna; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his son, Dwayne; brothers, Okey and Delmos (Rose); and brother-in-law, David Wenzel.

A Celebration of David’s Life will be held on Saturday, April 16, 2016 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 1642 Pearl Road, (1/2 mile south of Route 303) Brunswick, OH 44212. A Memorial Service will follow at 3:00 pm. Pastor Keith Rasey will officiate.
