David Croft, age 76, of Brunswick passed away suddenly on Friday, August 2, 2019.
He is survived by his dear wife of 19 years, Andrea (nee Prostejovsky); daughter, Suzanne (Chris) Brown, and granddaughter, Katie Brown; step-children, Rob Carpenter (Kimberly), Cathleen Carpenter; step-grandchildren, Jake McDonald, Kayla (Kyle) Cunningham, Tiffany Carpenter, and Ashley Carpenter.
David was blessed to have so many great-grandchildren, who never failed to make him smile.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarke and Dorothy (nee Barry) Croft; brothers, Jerry and Carolyn Croft, Dick and Carolyn Croft; and sister, Carol Gartman. He truly was the last man standing.
David was an inspiration to many and treasured as a true friend and buddy.
One of David’s happiest times was when he was on the water fishing with Roger.
David was an Air Force Veteran, who was an airplane mechanic stationed in California, working on the aircraft that came back from Vietnam.
Friends may join the family for Visitation on Saturday, August 24, 2019, from 10 AM to 12 Noon at Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 1642 Pearl Road (1/2 mile south of Route 303), Brunswick, OH. A Memorial Service for David will be held at Noon. Burial to follow at Myrtle Hill Cemetery, Valley City, OH.
