DAVID L. DEAN

David L. Dean, age 54, of Medina, passed away on Tuesday, November 30, 2021. He was born on November 27, 1967, at Cleveland to David and Betty (nee Valentine) Dean.

He loved to spend time with family, especially his son Andrew. David was passionate about drag racing and race cars. He was an avid animal lover, in particular dogs. In his free time David loved to fish and was an excellent cook. David spent most of his life as a truck driver and some years in the road construction industry.

David will be dearly missed by his son, Andrew Dean; life partner, Margaret Koly; mother, Betty Dean; brother, Brian (Theresa) Dean; sisters, Donna (Jeff) Grey and Dawn Porter (Michael Webb); nephews, Cody Grey, Brian Dean, Derrick Porter, Matthew Dean, Adam Dean, and Nick Dean; nieces, Kally (Dan) Derylak, Deandria Porter; great-nieces, Luna Grey, Amelia Dean, and Summer Grey.

He was preceded in death by his father, David.

Please join the family for a memorial visitation for David on Sunday, December 5, 2021, from 1:00 PM - 3:30 PM at Carlson Funeral Homes and Cremation Services, 3477 Medina Rd. (corner of River Styx and Route 18), Medina, Ohio 44256. A memorial service will follow visitation at 3:30 PM.
