DAVID W. GEDEON

David William Gedeon made his way to the light on Tuesday, October 23, 2018, after losing his battle with leukemia. Born April 16, 1949, in Medina, OH, he grew up in North Royalton, OH. After traveling in his 20's, he settled in the Columbus area, where he lived the rest of his life.David was part owner of G & W Construction, which operated in the Columbus area. He was an active member of the Columbus Ski Club. He participated in ski trips, volleyball, and softball with that organization. He learned his love of working on motors from his father, William, who he joined in Paradise.

He is survived by his mother, Alma (nee VanDeusen) Gedeon; sisters, Cyndy Liptak, Barbara Gedeon; and brother, Eric Gedeon; four nieces and two nephews.

He was preceded in glory by his sister, Amy Carter, only two months earlier.

Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Carlson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Medina, OH.
