David Harlan Raines

Photo: Obituary: David Harlan Raines, 58 of Paris Township, passed away on Wednesday, May 2, 2012 at Hillcrest Hospital in Mayfield Heights. He was born November 16, 1953 in Cleveland, Ohio to Marvin and June (Robinson) Raines. He was a plumber and a member of the Ravenna Thunderbirds. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. David is survived by his father Marvin of Chagrin Falls; children Jenell (Larry) Ekart of Kentucky, Kelli (Devon) Burns of Huntsburg, Sarah Raines of Garrettsville; companion Cheryl Bordt of Paris Township; brothers Dale (Meg) Raines of Zanesville, Mark (Pam) Raines of Auburn Twp. and Cindi Bindus of Auburn and 13 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother, June and his wife Kathy (Kruzel) Raines. Calling hours are 10 AM to 1 PM on Saturday, May 5, 2012 at Mallory-DeHaven-Carlson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 8382 Center St., Garrettsville, OH 44231. Following calling hours, funeral services will begin at 1 PM at the funeral home with Rev. Holly Pribanic officiating. Burial will be in Park Cemetery, Garrettsville.
