DAVID WALKER RAMEY SR

David Walker Ramey Sr., 61, of Brunswick, Ohio passed away unexpectedly on Monday, July 3, 2023. He was born August 8, 1961, in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Walker and Cora (Conley) Ramey.

David was employed at Grind All Inc. as a precision finisher. He enjoyed jet skiing, car racing and was an excellent roller skater. David also enjoyed fishing, and boating on his 42 ft boat on Lake Erie, and even earned his captain's license in hopes to one day start a fishing charter.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Ursula Ramey, and brother, Jerry D. Ramey.

David is survived by his son David Walker Ramey Jr., of the home; siblings, Clifford E. (Debbie) Ramey of Fairview Park, Ohio, Bennie Gail Marcinowski of Garfield, Ohio, Mary (Henry Sr.) Matousek of Brunswick, Ohio, and Sharon E. Ramey of Cleveland, Ohio, and a host of loving nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, July 8, 2023, at Carlson Funeral Homes and Cremation Services, 1642 Pearl Rd. (1/2 mile south of route 303) Brunswick, from 2 pm to 5 pm with a funeral service to follow at 5 pm with Rev. Paul Millikin officiating. A graveside service will be held on Monday, July 10, 2023, at 2:00 pm at Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Wayne County West Virginia. The Morris Funeral Home in Wayne County West Virginia will be handling the graveside service.
