DEBBIE WARD

Debbie was born in Wellsville, Ohio to Claude M. Boggs and Anna A. (Sedmak) Boggs. Debbie married the love of her life, Marland Jr. on October 20th 1984. They spent 40 years of their lives enjoying every minute together. 

She was an assistant manager at Root Candles gift shop in Medina for nearly 25 years. Debbie liked spending time with her family, reading mystery novels and vacationing with her husband. She really enjoyed spending days with her grandchildren. Debbie was absolutely a remarkable wife, mother, Nana and friend. 

Debbie will be deeply missed by her husband Marland Jr. Her children Marland Ward III and Heather (Curtis) Newberry. Her grandchildren Karli, Gavin and Harlan Newberry. Her mother-in-law Gloria Ward. Her sister-in-law Debbie (Greg) Bakeras and her nephews John and Justin Bakeras. 

Friends and family may come to call on Monday, February 17, 2025, from 5-7 p.m. at Carlson Funeral Home, 3477 Medina Road, (Corner of River Styx and Route 18), Medina. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 18, 2025, at 11 a.m. at Carlson Funeral Home. Burial to follow at York Cemetery.
