Debra Susan Schneider (nee Lucas), age 70, of Brunswick, passed away on Monday, September 26, 2022. She was born on November 15, 1951, in Cleveland to William and Agnes (nee Jindra) Lucas.
She loved Christmas, collecting ornaments, traveling to Hawaii, palm trees, and pineapples. Debra was a smart, strong, brave, and kind person. Instilling these traits in her grandchildren. Debra cherished her family especially her grandchildren, always celebrating the end of the school year with root beer floats and playing board games with them. She adored that her granddaughter Taylor was her birthday buddy, born on her 50th birthday.
Debra will be deeply missed by her loving husband of 50 years, Kenneth; her children Moria (John) O'Malley and Kenneth Schneider; grandchildren Morgan O'Malley, Taylor O'Malley, Kenneth Schneider, and Jessica Schneider; brothers, Bill Lucas and Mike (Laurie) Lucas; and sister-in-law, Diane Schneider.
In addition to her parents, Debra was preceded in death by her brother-in-law, Russ Schneider.
Friends may join the family for visitation for Debra on Sunday, October 2, 2022 from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm and from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Carlson Funeral Homes and Cremation Services, 1642 Pearl Rd (1/2 mile south of route 303), Brunswick. Visitation on Monday, October 3, 2022, at St Ambrose Catholic Parish, 929 Pearl Rd, Brunswick, from 10:00 am until 11:00 am. Mass of Christian burial following visitation at 11:00 am. Interment at Resurrection Cemetery, 6303 Center Rd, Valley City at 12:30 pm.
