DENISE MARIE BUCHTINEC

Denise Marie Buchtinec (née Conti), age 52, of Medina, passed away on January 27, 2020. She was born on July 28, 1967, in East Cleveland, OH to Phyllis (née Bright) Conti.

Denise loved being an amazing mother to her 6 children as well as a "second mom" to all of their friends and the neighborhood kids. She enjoyed hosting as many kids as possible at any time of the day and felt pure enjoyment when she heard a basketball bouncing in the backyard. She lived close to her motto that "there is no such thing as hungry in this Italian home" and took pride in feeding anyone who came over to play sports, video games, or just wanted to eat a cannoli.

She will be dearly missed by her mother; and children, Joseph, Thomas, Robert, Alexander, Gabrielle, and Grace Buchtinec.

Friends may join the family for visitation on Thursday, January 30, 2020, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 3477 Medina Road, Medina, OH 44256. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Denise on Friday, January 31, 2020, at 10:30 AM at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church 606 E Washington St Medina, OH. (PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH). Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Brookpark, Rd. in Cleveland.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Denise’s name to support children at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
