DENNIS H. GRENIG

Dennis H. Grenig, 74, of Garrettsville, formerly of Macedonia, passed away on Tuesday, February 13, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. He was born September 22, 1949, in Cleveland, to the late Harry and Doris (Lorenz) Grenig.

In addition to being a loving husband and father, Dennis was a man of many hobbies and things that he enjoyed. He was a lover of all types of music and enjoyed spending many evenings at the local racetracks. His mind was a fascinating place which he used to solve various types of puzzles and remember trivia of all sorts. He worked for over 30 years at the Ford Stamping Plant in Walton Hills, Ohio as a Journeyman in small truck repair.

Dennis will be deeply missed by his loving wife, Marcia (Ault) Grenig, with whom he was blessed to share 44 years of marriage; children, Melanie Grenig, Matthew (Katie) Grenig, and Jillian (Ryan) Carter; grandchildren, Johnny, Allyson, Dylan, and Silas; siblings, Linda Ahl, and many other family members and dear friends.

Please join the family for a celebration of Dennis’s life Saturday, March 2, 2024, at the Hiram Christian Church, 6868 Wakefield Rd., Hiram, OH 44234. Memorial visitation will be 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.; the memorial service will begin at the church at 12:00 p.m., with the Rev. Chris McCreight officiating.
