DENNIS R. HOFFMAN

Dennis R. "Denny" Hoffman, 72, of Nelson Township, passed away on Monday, October 17, 2022. He was born on June 30, 1950, in Cleveland, to the late Norman and Florence (nee Faber) Hoffman.
He retired from Saw Systems in 2012, where he worked as a machinist. Denny loved cats and dogs; in fact, he and his wife, Patti, have owned many over the years. Denny could always be found in a flannel shirt, no matter the occasion - even at the beach! He enjoyed riding the lawn tractor with his grandson, Justin, when he was younger, and rooting, as he did all his life, for the Cleveland Indians. Denny loved good-spirited humor and was always a hoot to be around.
Denny will be deeply missed by his loving wife of 52 years, Patricia Hoffman; daughter, Rebecca (Stephen) Laing; grandson, Justin Hoffman; brother, Ronald Hoffman; sister-in-law, Debra (Joseph) Long; nieces, Laura Hoffman, Jessica Long, and Suzanne (Tim) Clark; nephews, Cody Long and Michael Horsfall; cousin, Sharon Horsfall; several beloved pets, Macy, Sylvester, Bandit, Buddy, and Thomas, as well as grand-pets, Mittens and Bella Marie.
He was preceded in death by his parents; grandmother, Marie Faber; father-in-law and mother-in-law, William and Irene Plotz; sister-in-law, Janet Hoffman, and cousin, Maurice Horsfall.
