DENNIS R. KOCAB

Dennis R. Kocab, 73, of Sharon Center, passed away on Thursday, August 18, 2022. He was born August 4, 1949, in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Lawrence J. and Lauretta (nee Offs) Kocab.

He was proud to have served his country in the United States Army. Dennis enjoyed walking and riding in the woods and bird watching. He was a member of the Local #33 Sheet Metal Workers Union and was employed by Highland Local Schools. Dennis was a nature enthusiast. His best times were spent with his family and friends.

Dennis will be deeply missed by his loving wife Diane, with whom he was blessed to share 49 years of marriage; children, Lawrence (Madeleine), Lucas and Crystal (Adam) Broadbent; grandchildren, Lance, Elise and Ava; siblings Ronald (Sandy) and Lenore (William) Thomas; and many nieces, nephews and his furry friend "Willie".

He was preceded in death by his parents, sister and brother-in-law Joanne (Nelson).

Please join the family for a visitation to honor Dennis, on Tuesday, August 23, 2022, from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm with Tributes at 7:00 pm at Carlson Funeral Home & Cremation Services 3477 Medina Rd. (corner of Rte 18 & River Styx Rd.) Medina, Ohio. Burial will be at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery on Wednesday, August 24, 2022, at 12:30 pm. Please meet at the funeral home at 10:30 with an 11:15 procession to Ohio Western Reserve Cemetery.
