Diana Thorne (nee Marks), age 63, of Hinckley, passed away on Wednesday, March 9, 2016. She was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana, on May 19, 1952, to Walter and Edna (nee Robertson) Marks.
Diana was married to Scott Thorne for 16 years. She worked as a bar hostess and was an active member of the Medina Moose, Medina and Brunswick Eagles, and Medina #5137 V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed watching QVC and HSN shopping channels and was an avid sports fan.
Diana will be dearly missed by her husband; children Danica (Keny) Reichle, Holly (Rick), Joshua (Tonya), Jason (Michelle), and Hilary; sisters Linda (Gary) Friend and Debbie (John) Hohenstein; six grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Friends may join the family for Visitation on Thursday, March 17, from 4 PM to 8 PM at Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 3477 Medina Road (corner of River Styx & Rt. 18), Medina, Ohio 44256.
Services to be held 11 AM on Friday, March 18, at Heartland Community Church, 3400 Weymouth Road, Medina, Ohio, Rev. Dave Ambrose officiating. Family will receive visitors at church from 10 AM to 11 AM (please meet at the church).
Family suggests in lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Diana’s name to Heartland Community Church.
