Diane Usrey, a loving wife and mother, long time resident of Sharon Center, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, March 9, 2022, at the age of 63 while on vacation in St. Simons Island, Georgia.
Diane was born in Cleveland, Ohio on June 12, 1958 to Edward and Johanna Zambory. She married the love of her life, Gordon, on August 31, 1985. She welcomed her son, Bryan, in 1988.
Diane and Gordon frequently visited St Simons Island. They enjoyed swimming and people watching on the beach. She liked to read, share her books with friends, and collect clowns. Diane loved animals, especially her dog, Rosie. She also loved spending time with family and friends.
Diane is survived by Gordon, her husband of 37 years, son Bryan (Kaylin), father Edward, sister Debbie (Dave), aunt Dolores, Drema (Richard), brother-in-law Duane (Susan) and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her daughter Samantha, mother Johanna, and in-laws Bill and Betty.
Diane will be deeply missed by her family, friends and all who knew her.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate consideration of a contribution to a local animal humane society in Diane's memory. Arrangements for Diane have been entrusted to Carlson Funeral Homes and Cremation Services, 3477 Medina Rd, Medina, OH 44256. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
