DION M VENUS

Our Lord has called one of his masterpieces home.

Dion M. Venus, 55, born August 28, 1959, left this world on July 9, 2015, to be with the loved ones that have preceded him. He fought a courageous battle with cancer but ultimately lost his fight.
Dion is survived by the love of his life and wife, Tina, of 38 years, and their beautiful creation, daughter, Olivia Venus. He is also survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Debbie and Tom Fenrich, and father Fred Venus, as well as birth father Doug (Rita) Beckman, and many other relatives and friends. Dion was preceded in death by his mother, Yvonne Venus.

Dion loved playing guitars, a good debate, rebuilding antique sound systems, astronomy, astrophotography, and fine wines. Dion also loved riding motorcycles with his sister Debbie and their many friends. Dion will forever be remembered as a true gentleman, who valued honor and family above all else. He was a fair, passionate, and just man with a gentle spirit. We will all feel a large void in our lives but he will live on forever in our hearts.

Visitation will be held Sunday, July 12, 2015 from 2 to 7 PM at Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 3477 Medina Rd. (corner of River Styx & Rt. 18), Medina, OH. 44256. Funeral Service to follow at 7 PM. Private inurnment in Spring Grove Cemetery at a later date.
