Donald F. Baldwin, 62, of Garrettsville, passed away peacefully in his sleep surrounded by his loving family on Thursday, November 7, 2013. He was born March 26, 1951 in Sharon, Pennsylvania to James D. and Gladys (Stafford) Baldwin.
Donnie worked at Delphi, was an assembly worker at GM in Lordstown, and a member of UAW Local 1112. He loved music and playing his guitar. He played in two bands, “The Harvest Band” and “Liberty Road.” Donnie also enjoyed cars and WWE Wrestling.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Nancy (Long) Baldwin to whom he was married 37 years; parents, James & Gladys Baldwin and son, Chad (Ping) Hecky, all of Garrettsville. He is also survived by daughters, Jessica (Jeff) Conway of Twinsburg, Dawn (David) Pignaloso of Shalersville; brothers, Brian (Lorrie) Baldwin of Windham, father-in-law, Bill Long of Garrettsville and grandchildren, Ryan, Marissa, Gracie, Alex, Mariah, Lane, Estella, Mya, Noah and Olivia.
Calling hours are 3-6 P.M. on Monday, November 11, 2013 at Mallory-DeHaven-Carlson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 8382 Center St., Garrettsville, Ohio 44231. Funeral Services will follow at 6 P.M. at the funeral home with Rev. Dan Braun officiating.
