Don Moll - Beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather went home to his Lord and Savior Jesus on Saturday, December 7, 2024. He leaves behind his wife of 62 years, Jan Moll, and two sons, Gary Moll (Jeanette) and Daryl Moll (Kim). His son, Brian Moll, predeceased him. He also leaves behind 10 grandchildren: Amelia Moll, Brennan Moll, Cassie Gonyer (Timothy), Kendra Negron (Vladimir), Aaron Moll (Elizabeth), Aleigha Moll, Jonathan Moll, Jaxson Moll, Emerson Moll and Kathleen Moll. As well as 8 great-grandchildren: Lucy Gonyer, Ellie Gonyer, Maggie Gonyer, Savannah Negron, Xander Negron, Nova Moll, Oaklynn Mercer and Walker Mercer.
In addition, he leaves behind his sister Carol Novotny (Dave) and brother Dennis Moll (Juli). He was predeceased by his parents and sister Dona Hall (Neil).
Don graduated from Baldwin Wallace College and spent his entire career at the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland. He was very involved with his sons’ sports through Brunswick Youth Sports and served multiple terms on the Brunswick City School Board. He was actively involved in his church at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church and along with Jan, helped produce Miss North Coast through the Miss Ohio Scholarship Program / Miss America for the past 52 years.
Don was also very involved in the Brunswick Kiwanis Club, and the Medina Masonic Lodge #58. He was also instrumental in the growth of the Dyslexia Walk, that raised necessary funds for the Learning Center for Dyslexia.
Calling hours will be at Carlson Funeral Homes (Brunswick) on Friday, December 13th, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm, with a Masonic Service being held at 7:00 pm. The funeral service will be held at Carlson at 10:00 am on Saturday, December 14th, with graveside services to follow immediately at Hope Memorial Garden, in Hinkley, Ohio.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to family members and they will divide between some of his favorite charities / activities, including the Learning Center for Dyslexia, Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Kiwanis and the Miss Ohio Scholarship Program.
