DONALD ELZER

Donald Joseph Elzer, age 88, of Medina, passed away on Monday, October 31, 2022. He was born on May 26, 1934, in Pittsburgh, PA to the late Joseph and Mildred (nee Bromley) Elzer.

He retired from LTV Steel after 40 years of service as a blast furnace maintenance supervisor. Donald loved to golf, yard work, and sports. He was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers, Cleveland Indians, and Cavs fan. Donald was a member of the Huff-N-Puff senior softball group. He cherished spending time with his family.

Donald will be deeply missed by his loving wife of 68 years, Teresa; children, Donald D (Dianna), Debora (Dale) Erminio-Guiley, and Diane (James) Heideman; grandchildren, Daniel (Nicole), Vincent, Justin (Kimberly), Brandon, Anthony, Tracy, and Christopher; great grandchildren, Ethan, Isaac, Katrina, Nathan, and Noah; brother, Robert (Marti) Elzer; niece, Cindy; and nephew, Daniel.

Per Donald's wishes cremation has taken place and all services are private. The Elzer family has entrusted Donald's care to Carlson Funeral Homes and Cremation Services, Brunswick.
