DONALD "POOCH" MICHALSKE

Donald H. “Pooch” Michalske, age 86, of Brunswick, Ohio, passed away on November 12, 2014. He was born on May 14, 1928 in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Herman and Otilla (nee Klausmeyer) Michalske.

Donald was a barber for 50 years and the original owner of the Brunswick Plaza Barber Shop for 33 years. He enjoyed square dancing, boating, camping, and traveling. Donald was a charter member of St. Mark Lutheran Church.

He will be dearly missed by his beloved wife Marilyn (nee Meilander); children, Donna Brittain, Charles, Vicki; grandchildren, Christopher, Aaron, Jillian, Stephanie, Ashlea, Chelsea; great grandchildren, Brianna, Maxwell, Joseph, Preston, Landon, Nathaniel; sister, Marilyn (Ron) Williams; sister-in-law, Carolyn Campbell; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Friends may join the family for visitation on Sunday, November 16, 2014 from 1 to 3 PM and 5 to 8 PM at Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 1642 Pearl Road, (1/2 mile south of Route 303) Brunswick, OH 44212. A Funeral Service will be held Monday, November 17, 2014 at 10:00 AM at St. Mark Lutheran Church, 1330 North Carpenter Road, Brunswick, Ohio 44212. There will be a visitation one hour prior at 9:00 AM (PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH). Interment will follow at Eastlawn Memory Gardens, Brunswick, Ohio.
