DORIS JEAN BACSO

Doris Jean Bacso (Conley), age 91, of Wadsworth , passed away Tuesday June 29, 2021. She was born on June 23, 1930 in Akron, Ohio to Dennis and Edna (nee Kirk) Conley.

Preceded in death by her parents, husband Alfred of 62 years; infant daughter Becky; daughter Barbara; and brother Byron Conley.

Survived by son Jeff (Cindy) Bacso of Dayton, OH., daughter Bonnie (Dave) Becka of Medina. Grandchildren Katie (Jeremy) Johns of Columbus, OH, Matt Bacso of San Francisco, Kaitlyn (Nick) Catanzarito of Medina, and Brittany Becka of Medina.

Doris graduated from Central High School, Akron, Ohio in 1948 as Valedictorian. For many years Doris helped her husband and brother-in-law John Bacso at the Bacso Bros. Hardware and Coal. She traveled with Alfred to many Air Force Corps Squadron Military Reunions. Doris loved reading, golfing, flower gardening, and dancing with her husband. She volunteered for Meals on Wheels. God was very important to Doris in her life and attended bible study groups. She was a Parishioner of the Akron campus of The Chapel.

The family would like to invite friends to join them for Visitation to honor Doris on July 13, 2021, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 3477 Medina Rd. (Corner of Rt 18 and River Styx Rd., Medina Ohio 44256. A Prayer Service will begin at 12:00 PM. Burial will immediately follow at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery 10175 Rawiga Rd., Seville, OH 44273, where Doris will be laid to rest next to her husband.
