DORIS BRYANT

Doris Mae Bryant (Jones) November 23, 1938 – September 4, 2024

It is with deep sorrow and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Doris Mae Bryant, beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great great grandmother, sister and friend, who passed away peacefully on September 4th at the age of 85 at Willowood Care Center in Brunswick. Born on November 23, 1938, in Indianola, Mississippi, she lived a full and meaningful life, always giving her love, wisdom, and care to those around her. Mom was a pillar of strength for her family and community. She devoted her life to raising her family. On April 14th, 1962, she dedicated her life as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses to spread the good news, walking in faith as a full time Pioneer and servant for many years.

Her warmth and generosity touched the lives of everyone who knew her, and her legacy of kindness will continue to live on through her family and friends. She is survived by her children, Sonia (Dennis), Teresa, Charles (Jeanette) and Sabrina (Christopher), grandchildren, Lenny (Lenissa), LaCreasha (deceased), Monty, Damion (Yolanda), Loretta (Eric), Angel, Christopher Jr., CharLynn (William), Justin (LeAnne), Charles Jr., Brittainy (Dominique), Charles Dewey, Chantell, Alahna, Keanu, many great grandchildren including two that she helped raise Allexis and Nazir, and great great grandchildren who will forever cherish her memory. She is also survived by her siblings Walter, Alma, Annie, and Yvonne (John).

A celebration of Mom’s life will be held on September 13th at 1 pm at Carlson Funeral Home in Brunswick, Ohio. Visitation will be held at 12 pm. The repass will follow immediately food provided.

Mom will be deeply missed but never forgotten
