Dorothy Lorraine Klock, 85 of Garrettsville, passed away on Friday, February 24, 2012 at Briar Cliff Manor in Middlefield. She was born January 15, 1927 in St. Paul, Minnesota to W. Arnold and Agnes (Daily) Murphy.
She was a member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church, their choir, and The Singing Grannies. Dorothy enjoyed gardening, reading and loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by her children Daniel (Shirley) of Marietta, GA, David of Garrettsville, Brian (Mary) of Kannapolis, NC and Barbara (Tom) Hardesty of Garrettsville; brother Gary (Bonnie) Murphy of Lindstrom, MN, sister Jeri (Jim) Blackledge of Twisp, WA; nine grandchildren Kim, Kris, Dyan, Samuel, Justin (Alicia), Dr. Jocelyn (Brian), Jennifer, Jonathan and Amy, and 12-1/2 great-grandchildren.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents and husband Donald Gray Klock, brother Donnie and sister Lois. Calling hours will be from 1-3 PM on Sunday, February 26, 2012 at Mallory-DeHaven-Carlson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 8382 Center St., Garrettsville, OH 44231.
