Dorothy Mae Pesta

Photo: Obituary: Dorothy Mae Pesta (nee Jordan) age 85, resident of Plum Creek Assisted Living of Brunswick, passed away on, January 22, 2013 at Medina Hospital. She was born May 27, 1927 in Dillonvale, Ohio to Charles and Mary (nee Jelinek). Dorothy married Edward Pesta in 1963. She was employed and retired from East Ohio Gas Company as a Key Punch Operator. She loved and was loved by her large family and special friends. Dorothy is survived by her children; Richard (Pam) Kerney, Tom (Dianne) Kerney, Tim (Michelle) Kerney, Sheri (Tom) Petrosek, Karen (Shawn) Flanigan, Pat (Roger) Driver, Jeff Pesta,Edward (Dawn) Pesta, and grandchildren; Ron, Michael, Bob, Scott, Tracey, Kelly, Kevin, Becky, Breanne, Randy, Stephen, Chris, Nate, Kate, Amy, Emily, Annie, Jaime, Molly, Cassandra, Samantha, Ashley, Joshua, and 24 great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind much costume jewelry and many hats. Preceding Dorothy in death were her parents, husband, daughter Linda Purcell, grandson David and brother, Thomas Jordan. Visitation will be held on Friday, January 25, 2013 from 3 to 8 PM at Carlson Funeral Home 3477 Medina Road (Rt. 18 & River Styx Rd.) Medina, Ohio. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday January 26, 2013 at 10 AM also at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, Brookpark Rd. Cleveland.
