DORSEL LEE EAGLE

Dorsel Lee Eagle, age 76, of Valley City, passed away October 21, 2017. He was born August 30, 1941 in Ivydale, West Virginia to the late Nathan and Sadie (nee Barber) Eagle.
Dorsel proudly served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps as an expert rifleman. He was a loving husband of 52 years to Wanda, and cherished spending time and spoiling his daughter and granddaughter. He was a member of the Grace Baptist Church in Brunswick. He was a good Christian man who was remarkably smart. Dorsel enjoyed big game hunting, remodeling his home, and tending to the yard.
He will be dearly missed by his beloved wife, Wanda; daughter, Lisa Szakacs; granddaughter, Alicia Szakacs; siblings, Faye Eagle, James (Juanita) Eagle, Charles (Becky) Eagle, and Nancy (Bob) Smith.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and six siblings.
Friends may join the family for visitation Monday, October 30, 2017 from 6 to 8 pm at Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 1642 Pearl Road, (1/2 mile south of Route 303) Brunswick, OH 44212. A Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, October 31, 2017 at 10:30 am at Grace Baptist Church, 3480 Laurel Rd, Brunswick, OH 44212. Family will receive friends at the church from 9:30 to 10:30 am prior to service time. Interment will follow at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to his family to defray funeral expenses.
