Earl “Dean” Rupert Earl “Dean” Rupert, 85, of Nelson, passed away on Tuesday, April 27, 2010 at Robinson Memorial Hospital in Ravenna. He was born in Sagamore, Pa. to the late John Earl and Mary Jane (Aul) Rupert.
He served in the U.S. Navy in WWII and then worked as a foreman at Cleveland Mixer.
Earl is survived by his son, Kenneth (Linda Serafin) Rupert of Brunswick; daughter, Carol Rupert of Nelson; sister, Ruby Fisher of Florida; grandchildren, Jeremy Rupert, Kenneth (Karin) Rupert, and Laura (Tim) Snyder; and 5 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Betty, who passed away in 2002.
Earl has been laid to rest beside his wife at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman with Military Honors.
