Earnest Burden Jr., age 76, of Brunswick, passed away on November 20, 2019. He was born on July 22, 1943 in Crab Orchard, TN to the late Earnest Sr, and Ida (nee Tollett) Burden.
Earnest retired from the Brook Park Ford Auto Foundry. He enjoyed watching Nascar, football, and reading his westerns, usually while drinking sweet tea. He loved spending time with family and his childhood friend Walter Young. He adored time with his grandchildren, and his truest passion in life was spoiling them.
He will be dearly missed by his beloved wife, Judy; children, Julie Salzman, Jodi Titchenell, Patty Akers (John), Wayne Burden, Tim Titchenell (Wendy) and Brad Titchenell (Evelyn); grandchildren, Samantha Boneta (Frisco), Brittany Cruz (Kelle), Olivia Herbert (Adam), Logan Salzman, Kayden Draiss, Danielle Tate (David), Kylie O'Connor (Kevin) and Austin Burden; great grandchildren, Dakota, James, Eli, Blake, Kellan and Krissalie; sister, Janie Kirkland.
He was preceded in death by his grandsons, Kody Salzman and Derek Akers.
Friends may join the family for visitation on Saturday, November 23, 2019 from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 1642 Pearl Road, (1/2 mile south of Route 303) Brunswick, OH 44212, with Earnest's Funeral Service to follow at 5:00 p.m. A Private Interment will be held at Hope Memorial Gardens in Hinckley, OH at a later date.
