EDDIE WILLIAM POLANSKY

Edward W. Polansky, age 87, passed away Saturday, December 2, 2023. He was born on November 15, 1936, to the late Joseph and Ann (nee Hurtock) Polansky in Brownsville, PA.

He proudly served in the US Air Force during the Korean War era. A member of the Iron Workers Union Local 17. Eddie enjoyed working around the house and gardening. His greatest accomplishment in this world was his daughter.

Eddie will be deeply missed by his nieces and nephews, Michael Polansky (Ann-Marie) of Sagamore Hills, Sharon Sopata (Kevin) of Macedonia, Karen O’Leary (Drew) of Florida, Ellen Tuggle (Scott) of Parma, and Guy Weaver (Donna) of Brunswick; sister-in-laws, Nancy Polansky of Macedonia and Shirley Lucas of Weirton, WV; and son-in-law, Darrin Wahl.

In addition to his parents, Eddie was preceded in death by his loving wife, Beverly; daughter, Tracy; brothers, Theodore, Paul, and Joseph; sisters Margie and Mary Weaver (nee Polansky) and brother-in-law Guy Weaver, Jr.

Please join the family for visitation on Saturday, December 9, 2023, from 9:00 am until 10:00 am at Carlson Funeral Homes and Cremation Services, 1642 Pearl Rd. (1/2 mile south of route 303), Brunswick. A funeral service will follow visitation. Burial at Eastlawn Memory Gardens, 2869 Grafton Rd., Brunswick, at 10:30 am.
