EDITH MAE YOUNG

Edith Mae Young (nee Rose), age 80, of Brunswick, passed away on Wednesday, January 29, 2020. She was born on November 7, 1939, in Sutton, West Virginia, to the late Ted and Estella Rose. Edith was married to the love of her life, Kenneth Young, for 62 years.
Edith was the face of Ken Young Realty. As office manager, over her many years, she became friends with so many wonderful people in Medina County.
Edith will be dearly missed by her loving husband; children, Vicki (Timothy) Cooper and Jeffrey (Margaret) Young; sister, Sharon (Richard – dec) Koogle; sister-in-law, Penelope Samples; grandchildren, Alesci (Scott) Hawkins, Amber Cooper (Jonny Ford – fiancé); Barry Cooper, Sarah Cooper, Elise Cooper, Kyle Young, and Sarah Young (Mario Hernandez – fiancé); great-grandchildren, Mason Hawkins, Madelynn Hawkins, Lillian Cooper, Bennett Cooper, and Eleanora Cooper; and loving aunt and sister-in-law of many.
She was preceded in death by four siblings.
A private family service will be held. Arrangements have been entrusted to Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 1642 Pearl Road, Brunswick, Ohio.
Contributions may be made in Edith’s memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
