EDNA MLADY

January 27, 1918 — July 9, 2015

Edna Mlady age 97, resident of Medina, passed away on Thursday, July 9, 2015. She was born on January 27, 1918 in Cleveland, Ohio to Gennero and Lucy (nee Santosuosso).

She was an office employee with Higbees Department Store. She loved gardening, bowling, and cooking especially Italian and Bohemian dishes.

She is survived by her best friend and sister-in-law Marilyn Melillo, her other special sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews who all brought her great joy. She also leaves behind many family and friends.

Edna was preceded in death by her husband Norman, parents and siblings; Lena, Rita, Raymond, James, Gerald.

Visitation for family and friends will be held on Wednesday, July 15, 2015 from 4 to 8 PM at Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 3477 Medina Road (corner of River Styx and Rt. 18), Medina, Ohio. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 AM, on Thursday, July 16, 2015 (Please meet at the church); St. Martin of Tours Church, 1800 Station Road, Valley City, Ohio 44280. There will be a visitation one hour prior to Mass at 10:00 AM. Burial to follow in York Township Cemetery.
