EDWARD J. GLINKA

Edward J. Glinka, age 88, of Medina, went to be with our Heavenly Father on November 21, 2018. He was born October 26, 1930 in Cleveland, to the late John and Antoinette (nee David) Glinka.

Edward was retired from US Steel and served in the US Army in the Korean war. He is a member of Holy Martyrs Church, VFW Post 5137 and the American Legion Post 620. Edward was at his best playing pinochle, fishing, or listening to his favorite music.

He will be deeply missed by his wife, Maryann (nee Domagalski); daughters, Cynthia (Jerome) Kolosky, and Pamela Glinka-Lisiecki; sons, David (Linda) and Mark (Lori); grandchildren, Katherine, Kristine, Karen, Karissa, Lindsey, Edward Anthony, Mark Andrew, Jaime, Ariel, and Andrew; great-grandchildren, Beckett, Sophia and Esmée.

Friends may join the family for Edward’s visitation on Monday, November 26, 2018 from 4 PM to 8 PM at Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 3477 Medina Road, Medina, OH 44256. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Edward Tuesday, November 27, at 9:00 AM at Holy Martyrs Catholic Church, 3100 Old Weymouth Rd., Medina, OH 44256. There will be a visitation one hour prior to Mass (PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH). Interment will follow at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Seville, OH.
