EDWARD "JAKE" DEWAYNE KELLS

Edward “Jake“ DeWayne Kells, age 85, of Brunswick, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on Sunday, January 8, 2023. He was born in Wolf Summit, WV, to the late Lawrence Edward and Wilda Rose (nee Pierce) Kells on April 29, 1937.

He enjoyed playing all types of card games, watching John Wayne westerns, and going home to enjoy friends and pepperoni rolls. Edward was the family comedian, always making everyone laugh and smile.

Edward will be deeply missed by his loving children, Darlena Moore and Edward D. (Debra) Kells Jr.; grandchildren, Joshua Moore, Jerrod Moore, Rachel (Cody) Wood, Nicole (fiancé Noah Lane) Kells, and Edward D Kells III; and brother-in-law, Donald Wilson. A beloved uncle and great uncle to many.

In addition to his parents, Edward was preceded in death by his loving wife, Ellen; son-in-law, Roy; brother, Ronnie; and sister, Janie.

Visitation for Edward will be held on Friday, January 13, 2023, from 8:00 am until 9:45 am at Carlson Funeral Homes and Cremation Services, 1642 Pearl Rd (1/2 mile south of route 303), Brunswick. Funeral Service will follow visitation at 9:45 am. Burial at Ohio Western Reserve, 10175 Rawiga Rd, Seville.
