Edward J. Mokrzycki age 58, of Medina, passed away on Monday, July 28, 2014. He was born on July 30, 1955 in Des Moines, Iowa to Wladyslaw and Helena (nee Kapica) Mokrzycki.
He was employed with GBS Corp. He was a proud father and grandfather and enjoyed his family and playing with his grandchildren. In his personal time, he enjoyed woodworking and fixed anything that was in need of repair. He liked playing poker and watching movies with his friends.
He will be forever in the hearts of his loving family; his wife of 39 years, Jeannie, daughter Trisha (Brian) Large, Nikki Mokrzycki; grandchildren, Matthew, Jordan, Bryce; sisters, Donna (Tony) Kopf, Anne Nelson, Kathi (Jerry) Clinch, MaryAnn (Dan) Smith; also many nieces, nephews, in-laws, and his many treasured friends.
Ed was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Christine Kopf and Petricia Forke; and brother-in-law Roger Nelson.
Friends may join the family for Visitation on Friday, August 1, 2014 from 5 to 8 PM at Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 3477 Medina Road, (corner of River Styx and Rt. 18) Medina, OH 44256. 10 AM Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, August 2, 2014 at St. Francis Xavier Church 606 E. Washington St. Medina, Ohio 44256. Fr. Tom Kowatch will be officiating. Burial following in Spring Grove Cemetery.
