EDWARD ELMER SCHULTE, JR.

Edward “Ed” Elmer Schulte, Jr. age 63 of Brunswick Hills, passed away on August 31, 2024, in his home.

Ed was born in Cleveland, Ohio on January 11, 1961, to Edward Schulte Sr., and Helga (Wodarzek). He graduated from Brunswick High School in 1979. Ed retired in 2017 after over 20 years of service as a Police Officer from Cleveland Police Department. He loved hunting, fishing, camping, traveling, and spending time outdoors. Ed’s grandchildren were his everything. He loved spending time with his family.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Ed will be deeply missed by his wife, Michelle (Oberst), children, Edward (Gina) Elmer Schulte, III, Michael (Jaclyn) Schulte, and Matthew (Rebecca) Schulte, Kristen (Bryan) Woods, Nicole Weidman, and Cassidy Weidman, grandchildren, Sophia, Blake, Emma, Henry, Sadie, Johnny, Ana Marie, Kayden, Madalyn, Esther, and Carter, mother-in-law, Kathleen Oberst, brother, Russell (Jackie) Schulte, aunt, Bernice Dworning, uncle, Fred “Butch” Schulte, multiple nieces, nephews, and cousins. Ed was a close friend to many.

Friends and family may come to call on Thursday, September 5, 2024, from 4-8 p.m. at Carlson Funeral Home, 1642 Pearl Road, Brunswick. Mass will take place on Friday, September 6, 2024, at 10 a.m. at Holy Martyr Catholic Church, 3100 Old Weymouth Road, Medina, Ohio.
