Eleanor E. Kunsman, 88, passed away Thursday April 1, 2010. She was a resident of Western Reserve Masonic Community and previously of Brunswick and Coshocton. Eleanor was born in Strongsville, Ohio to Clayton and Florence (nee Stover) Drake.
She was preceded in death by her husband Ray Kunsman in 1976, owner of Ray’s Service Station and Towing.
Eleanor also held positions as bookkeeper and worked for a local dentist and optometry office. She enjoyed crocheting and was an avid reader and hobby painter. Eleanor was also an active member of Brunswick United Methodist Church, where she served as secretary and Sunday School teacher. She was active with the Rebekah Lodge and advisor to Theta Rho Girls Club for years.
Surviving are daughters, Sandra (husband Thomas) LeMasters of Chatham; Sharon (husband Jerry) Gall of Brunswick; son Donald Kunsman of Brunswick; grandchildren, Daniel (wife Peggy) Kunsman of Sullivan, John (wife Katy) LeMasters of Texas, SonjaRae (husband Jim) Foote of Brunswick; great-grandchildren, Zoe and Mya Kunsman, Renee and Samantha Foote , LeAnne LeMasters.
She was preceded in death by her husband Ray, granddaughter Wendy Hornberger and brothers Howard and Wilbur Drake and her parents.
Friends may join the family for visitation on Monday, April 5, 2010 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 1642 Pearl Road (1/2 mile South of Route 303), Brunswick. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, April 6, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. also at the Funeral Home. Pastor Tom Shaw of Brunswick United Methodist Church will be officiating.
