ELEANOR WAGNER

Eleanor Wagner (nee Bistorky), age 84, of Medina, passed away April 14, 2017. She was born October 24, 1932 in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania to the late George and Anna (nee Zayarosk) Bistorky.

Eleanor loved family gatherings, enjoying with delight all her children and grandchildren; shopping, bingo, Bunco and luncheons with her friends; spending time with “Sasha”; and checking her lottery tickets. She previously enjoyed traveling throughout Alaska and Canada with her late husband, Eugene. She worked for many years as an Educational Aide for Brunswick City Schools.

She will be dearly missed by her children, Karen (Dr. Scott) McCune, Michael (Kathy) Wagner, Kevin (Jill) Wagner, Kathleen (Mark) Salmonski; grandchildren, Megan (Seth), Jolene (Jeremy), Cory (Jen), Jay, Katie, Courtney, Kristen, Jenna, Alexa, Jeremy, Zachary, Jacob; great grandchildren, Dylan, Natalie, Keegan, Trenton, and Bryce. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Eugene; and her parents.

Friends may join the family for visitation Monday, April 17, 2017 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 1642 Pearl Road, (1/2 mile south of Route 303) Brunswick, OH 44212. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at 10:00 am (visitation one hour prior at 9:00 am) at the Funeral Home. Interment will follow Service at Resurrection Cemetery in Valley City.
