ELIZABETH COLEN

Elizabeth “Betty” Colen (nee Young), age 81, of Brunswick, passed away May 13, 2018. She was born August 11, 1936, in Cleveland, Ohio, to the late Phillip and Eva Young (nee Mayer).

Betty worked as a cook for the Parma Schools for many years. She especially enjoyed Bingo and spending time with her family.

Betty was the loving mother of Kevin (Tammy), Brian, Jeffrey (Linda); cherished grandmother of Amy, Kevin, Brad (Kim), Jeff, Justin, and Kaitlyn; great-grandchildren, Joey, Myla, Jaxon, and Teigan.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Francis “Frank.”

Friends may join the family for visitation on Thursday, May 17, 2018, from 6 to 8 PM at Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 1642 Pearl Road, (1/2 mile south of Route 303) Brunswick, OH 44212. A funeral service will follow at 8:00PM.

Interment will be on Friday, May 18, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Holy Cross Cemetery, Cleveland, Ohio (PLEASE MEET AT THE CEMETERY).
