Elizabeth A. Khoury, 60, of Lodi, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, March 5, 2016. She was born on Jan. 3, 1956, to Theodore and Mary Ann (nee Dexter) Perkovich.
Elizabeth was an artist and a musician—she loved to paint and play the piano—and one of her passions was teaching. She was an English teacher at Wadsworth High School and touched the lives of her students.
Elizabeth also touched the lives of her daughters, whom she adored, and her husband, to whom she was married 34 years and loved immensely.
She enjoyed doing the New York Times crossword puzzle. In ink, not pencil. And in addition to being one of the smartest people her friends and family knew, Elizabeth also was sassy, classy, bold and fun.
She had a knack for decorating, for putting together a fabulous outfit and for cooking a wonderful meal.
Elizabeth liked reading, writing and vacationing in Sanibel Island, Florida. She was beautiful, generous and talented and will be greatly missed by her daughters, Katie and Rebecca, husband, David, mother, Mary Ann, siblings, Ted and Cathy Perkovich, dogs, Scotti and Chipper, extended family and friends.
A Celebration of Life will take place from 4-8 p.m. on Saturday, April 2, at Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 3477 Medina Road, Medina, Ohio 44256.
