ELIZABETH TUCKER

Elizabeth Tucker (nee Lengyel), age 87, of Lodi, previously a lifelong resident of Brunswick, passed away December 30, 2015. She was born October 22, 1928 in Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania to Joseph and Julia Lengyel.
Elizabeth was a president of the Brunswick VFW Post 9520 Ladies Auxiliary, a president of the Medina County VFW Ladies Auxiliary, and a past officer of the State VFW Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed reading romance novels, gardening, and cooking Hungarian dishes.
She will be dearly missed by her beloved children, Robert (Chris), Gail (Jerry) Risko, Daniel (Lisa), Deborah (Art) McAndrew, fifteen dear grandchildren, and ten loving great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Vernon; loving parents; and dear brothers, Dan, Stephen, and Joseph.
Friends may join the family for visitation on Saturday, January 9, 2016 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 1642 Pearl Road, (1/2 mile south of Route 303) Brunswick, OH 44212. A Memorial Service will follow at 5:00 PM. Inurnment will be at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery at a later date.
