ELLEN D. PORTER

Ellen D. Porter, 88, of Southington, joined her Lord and Savior on Saturday, July 1, 2023. She was born December 22, 1934, in Hiram, OH, to the late Lewis “Louie” and Elizabeth (nee Warner) Beery.

She worked for many years at Johnson Plastics. Ellen was a proud graduate of Hiram High School, belonging to the class of 1952. On June 9, 1956, she married the love of her life, Charles “Pete” Porter. She loved her cats very much.

Ellen will be missed by her sisters, Ina Pavloff, Sonja Portman, Linda Koerlin, and Laurel Columbus, as well as her niece, Lisa Pavloff.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Pete, and siblings, Louis Beery, Fred Beery, Marilyn Winning, Katherine Rodgers, and Gloria Molnar.

Please join the family for a graveside service on Saturday, July 8, 2023, at 11:00 A.M., in Overlook Cemetery, 18145 Tavern Rd., Burton, OH, with Fr. Francis Katrinak presiding, where Ellen will be laid to rest beside her beloved, Pete.
