ERMAL WEST

Ermal West, 85, formerly of Ravenna, passed away Sunday, August 22, 2021. She was born October 9, 1935, in Clay, West Virginia to Estle (Pete) and Lola (nee Shamblin) West.

She was a dedicated employee at Ohio Bell for over 30 years, and was one of the "Telephone Pioneers". Ermal enjoyed to sew, knit, reading, and tend to her flower gardens. She was a second mother to all her nieces and nephews, and loved doting on them.

Ermal will be deeply missed by her siblings, Ernest (Carol) West, of Ripley, West Virginia, Elsie Dean, of Ravenna, Ohio, Eldon (Teddy) West, of Garrettsville, Ohio, Orville (Bobbie) West, of Garrettsville, Ohio, and Doris Jean (Harold) Maur of Freedom Township, Ohio, as well as many loving nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents; siblings Lee West and Ines Dobbins.
