Ethel W. Belleville, age 97, of Brunswick Hills, Ohio, passed away on January 21, 2015. She was born on August 14, 1917, in Shenango Township, Pennsylvania to the late Fred H. and Mae (nee Clarke) Wheeler.
Ethel received her undergraduate degree from Houghton College in Houghton, New York and her Master’s degree from Westminster College in New Wilmington, Pennsylvania. She was a teacher for many years. She taught at the former Clarksville (Clark) School as an elementary teacher in a two-roomed schoolhouse. She also taught in the old building of the West Middlesex High School for seven years. Ethel taught elementary children for seventeen years at the Joseph Badger School District in Hartford, Ohio. She enjoyed studying the Bible, reading, and was a member of Nashua Orthodox Presbyterian Church in Edinburg, Pennsylvania.
She will be dearly missed by her beloved sons, Brian (Linda), Bruce (Pam), Bradley (Carol); daughter, Brenda; brother, Rev. Myron L. (Beebs) Wheeler; grandchildren, Aaron, Joshua, Katie, Paul, Matthew, Kimberly, Andrea, and Troy.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Raymond, whom she married on June 26, 1948, and her brother, Howard Wheeler.
Friends may join the family for visitation on Friday, January 23, 2015 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 1642 Pearl Road, (1/2 mile south of Route 303) Brunswick, OH 44212. A Funeral service will be held Saturday, January 24, 2015 at 1:00 PM at the funeral home with a visitation one hour prior at 12:00 PM. Interment at Hubbard Union Cemetery, Hubbard, Ohio.
