ETHEL PFAFF

Ethel Pfaff, 83, of Hiram, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on November 25, 2018. She was born on January 20, 1935 in Akron, Ohio to Frank and Theresa (Kurko) Bauer. Ethel married the love of her life, Andreas Pfaff, Sr., on November 19, 1955. They were happily married for more than 62 years.

She was a former President of St. Joseph Alter and Rosary and of the Cleveland City Block Club and a Den Mother for 10 years. Ethel liked to go camping and travel, especially going to Florida. She enjoyed dancing and spending time with her family and friends.

Ethel is survived by her children, Andreas (Cyndi) Pfaff, Jr., Theresa Gibson, Evelyn (Samuel) Fasciana and Michael Pfaff; grandchildren, Eric, Nicholas (Veronica), Garrett (Ashley) Valarie, Julie and Nicholas; great grandchildren, Leonardo and Lucas and brothers, Joseph (Frances) and Steve.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Andreas; parents and brother, Charles.

Please join Ethel’s family for visitation on November 27, 2018 from 12 – 2 PM at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 11045 St. Joseph Blvd., Mantua, Ohio 44231. Mass of Christian burial to be held on November 27, 2018 at the church. Burial to follow in Fairview Cemetery.
