It is with great sadness that we share news of the passing of our much loved father, Eugene B. Klaus, on August 10, 2020 at age 94. He has gone to be reunited with his beloved wife, Marian (nee Papajcik) and to meet again with his parents, Edward and Anna, brother, Edward and two sisters, Audrey and Helen.
Dad proudly served as a Marine in the Pacific through World War II and was equally as proud to have been in business with his son, Gene, in later years and participating in Mark’s ventures.
The life of the party, he enjoyed bowling, card playing, polka dances, playing pool and being creative in the kitchen. He was great friend to many and devoted much of his time to being a father figure to those who needed one. He loved being surrounded by family and friends, and children gave him great joy.
He will be greatly missed by his children, Karen (Bernie), Gene (Jill) and Mark (Dana), his grandchildren, Matthew, Andrew, Sarah, Katie, Natalie and Mark, great grandchildren, Calvin, Malia, Hailey, Landon, Nolan, Zane and Owen, his brothers, Raymond, Richard and John, many nieces and nephews and close friend, Betty.
