EVELYN I MACK

Evelyn I. Mack age 90, resident of Medina, passed away on Saturday, March 28, 2015.
She was born on March 10, 1925 to Nelson and Minnie (nee Peterman) Shaulis in Somerset, PA.

Evelyn was a member of Medina area; The Church of Jesus Christ, Moose Women’s Club Lodge 968, Eagles Auxiliary Post 2224, VFW Auxiliary Post 5137. She enjoyed gardening, embroidery, and most of all her large loving family. Many people who knew Evelyn would go to Jam Bar in Medina where she worked for 20 years; she also was a server at the Moose Club. Evelyn married Merle Mack and raised 7 children.

She will be missed by her children; Ruth Ann Stetz (friend, John), Merle (Brenda), Idella (Raymond) Gilbert, Gloria (James) Schultz, Joseph (Elizabeth), Karen (Carl) Hatfield, and 16 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren, and 4 great great-grandchildren, brother; James Shaulis, sisters; Betty Hamer and Emma Moore and many extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Merle, daughter, Linda, brothers, Charles, John, William and sister Mary Emos.

Visitation for family and friends will be held Thursday, April 2, 2015 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM at Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 3477 Medina Road (corner of River Styx and Rt. 18), Medina, Ohio, Funeral Service to follow at 8 PM, Pastor Karen Leidy officiating. The family will also invite friends to additional Visitation on Friday, April 3, 2015 from 6 to 8 PM and on Saturday, April 4, 2015 from 10 to 11 AM with Service to follow at Robert Halverson Funeral Home, 476 W. Main St. Somerset, PA 15501, Burial in Sipesville Cemetery.
